I wanted to write this article because I know how I felt when I first started using PPC. It was like pouring money into a slot machine and hoping for the big payoff – that never comes. If you’ll take the time to read this and put my recommendations into practice, then you will make more money than you will lose (unless you are a total dweeb!)
The example I am going to use is running CPA offers from Peerfly through 7Search PPC platform. I use 7Search for all of my PPC because frankly, they have beaten Google every time I’ve tested the two side by side. If the rest of the world is doing “A”, then you should do “B” – and do it well. It would behoove you to dig in and to learn how to master 7Search. It will reward you handsomely.
I use Peerfly because, despite what the rest say about themselves, Peerfly IS the best. There is zero chance that anyone can beat Peerfly on its overall presentation. Sure, some can and will offer higher payouts, but for that extra 10 cents you have to deal with kids that can’t speak in full sentences. They never answer the question that was asked and they are just outright frustrating to deal with. I won’t mention them here, but they know who they are.
One of the reasons that you can’t beat Peerfly is because of people like Luke Kling. Luke runs a couple of sites related to Peerfly that are essentially your own personal PPC University. Read this material consistently for a few months, and you will have your PhD in online marketing. Luke’s sites are:

I use a tool that I recently purchased for $37 called “Long Tail Pro”. I’ve been watching this product for a couple of years but always felt that I could do the work on my own. When they recently dropped the price to $37, I could no longer justify avoiding this product. It does for me in ten minutes what would take me a few hours to do ordinarily. I highly recommend that you make it one of your staple tools. You can get it here –> Long Tail Pro
Ok. So here is what I do. I START with Peerfly to find the offers that look good. I sort by CTR (click through rate) and choose my offer. You don’t have to choose the offers with the biggest payout. You only need to have offers that are going to convert high enough to make you more money than you will spend.
I use Longtail Pro to find my niche market and keywords. A recent search told me that people are looking to either make money or win money. Lotteries and gift cards have been hot. But if you choose the wrong keyword, you’ll get hundreds of clicks that don’t convert. This is where the strength of “Longtail Pro” comes in handy. You find the two or three keywords that convert!
I put $25 into my last 7Search campaign account and then went to work. For a lottery offer that Peerfly had, I chose the keyword “enter to win”. My click through rate was 21.46%! I developed a small spreadsheet that allows me to enter my details and then find out what I need to bid to be profitable. I use the Peerfly CTR estimates as guides and enter them into my spreadsheet. I’ve found that they are not far off, based on the keywords that I use. I set a daily spending limit of $8 on each of my offers. This doesn’t sound like much, but when your keywords are right, you don’t need to spend a lot to be profitable. I also created three different ads all point to the same offer. You really need to test which ad copy is working. Give them a fair chance, then delete the ads that don’t work. Create new ones and constant test! If you aren’t good at adcopy, then go online and find some adcopy that others are using and use it for your own ad. No sense in reinventing the wheel.
When I checked early this morning, I had made four sales (4 conversions) on 23 clicks. That is over 17% Conversion! Because of my [exact match] keyword targeting, this cost me 23 cents. Yes, I got clicks for 1 cent a piece. Yes, four sales is nothing to write home about. It’s only $2.80 on this particular offer. The offer pays only .70 on conversion, and I am promoting only to one country. However, if I prove my keyword and conversion rate on 7Search, I could go to other networks and promote the offer. I might even promote it softly on Pinterest. If I wanted to use Google, I would have to pay much higher ad rates, but conversion would be higher too. Not sure if that is worth the headache yet though.
If you get a dozen offers going in this manner, you can easily start making some good money. There is a thrill to logging onto your Peerfly dashboard and see the balance constantly rising. With very little effort, you can start taking home a few hundred dollars a month with this method. With that money, you can then spread out a bit and try some of the other methods that Luke talks about on his “LukePeefly” site. Plenty of Fish ads are quite hot. In fact the whole dating thing is red hot. Luke has some great material to explain exactly how this is done. I suggest you read all of Luke’s stuff on that if you are interested in that market.
I’m working on a short Ebook to outline all of this stuff in greater detail. I’ll include several videos that demonstrate exactly how to use 7Search profitably and how to properly find and set your keywords. I’ll host the videos on my Amazon server and likely charge a nominal fee for the book. Just enough to cover my server costs.

I really appreciate the mention and I’m very happy you enjoy working with us at PeerFly!
Thanks Luke! Nothing I do here compares to the excellent material you provide on your blogs. I’ve put your advice to work and it has never failed to make me money. Honestly, you are a “newbies” dream when it comes to getting started. I have one offer running in perpetuity on 7Search that just keeps filling my bank account. Well, not literally filling it, but I make more than I spend at Starbucks every day! Every 6 cents I spend makes me about $2.80 in commissions. So at the end of the day the totals just keep racking up. Given that it took me all of about 5 minutes to set up the campaign, there is zero work to keep it running. I just keep topping off my spending account with 7Search every once in a while. I’ll put $25 into 7Search and at the same time cash out $60 on Peerfly. Once I string a dozen offers together like this, it will be making me $1500 a month on auto-pilot. Your blog must be totally cleaning up in the ratings! Keep up the great work.
